The Knighton Hotel, Knighton

Situated on the Welsh Border in beautiful Powys, this hotel is within easy driving distance of the Midland towns and cities; approximately one hour from Shrewsbury, Worcester and Hereford.

The hotel comprises a 16th century weather boarded coaching inn, the Norton Ballroom and adjoining stone built Manor House with its magnificent galleried central staircase leading to the bedrooms. Extensive work has been undertaken in the ballroom to expose and restore many original features, including the 16th century beams.

Whether you are here for a tranquil walking holiday or to take advantage of the live entertainment in the ballroom (most weekends) you can be assured of a hospitable welcome and friendly service.

Knighton is served by the Heart of Wales Railway which passes through some of the most spectacular scenery in the country on its way from Swansea to Shrewsbury.
